Some popups have just started appearing on my toolbar. See image --> The yellow triangle notification wants takes me to a site to download the antispyware program at antivirusgolden.com The gray and red box comes from the circle/slashthru which alternates with a windows question mark help icon. This one takes me to download SpywareQuake. McAfee cant find it, my spyware came up with a few items, but the resulting "fix" didnt accomplish anything. I get occasional popups on my desktop for online casinos and dating services. These annoying spyware notifications come up every 15 seconds or so, even after ive dismissed them. Run Hijack This again and remove these items:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dcomcfg.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\atmclk.exe

O21 - SSODL: cholecyst - {ee2975b6-e8d5-405e-8448-8fe9590f6cfb} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mzoeut.dll

After you remove these items then reboot in safe mode and run the following programs. You can get these programs at http://download.com and they are free programs.

Ad-Aware (Lavasoft)
Spybot Search & Destroy

Run both of them in safe mode along with McAfee and when you reboot your system will be clean. Let me know how everything works out for you.

Reboot your computer in SafeMode by doing the following:

1. Restart your computer
2. After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3. Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4. Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

When in safemode, open SmitfraudFix folder and doubleclick the file smitfraudfix.cmd
Choose option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and pressing "Enter" in order to remove the infected files.

You are asked: "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove your desktop wallpaper and the infected registry keys.

The tool checks if wininet.dll file is infected. You might be asked to replace the infected .dll (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool might have to restart your computer; if it won't do it, restart your computer back to normal mode.
A textfile will appear after the cleaning process, copy this file and paste it to here.
That log is saved to your local diskdrive, usually C:\rapport.txt. Send also a new HjT log.
