Devhook .44 crashing after reading UMD

Hey dudes!
I just downloaded the newdevhook.
And I saw it was compatible with .dax files.
After recompressing Daxter to .dax i thought I could finally play it.
But upon rebooting in either 2.5 , 2.6 or 2.71 firware in devhook...it crashes constantly!
it spins the UMD for like half a second and crases my PSP!
Anyone know what to do about it?

Do you have the clock speed set to 333? It will crash if you run devhook with a umd in and the clock set at 333. 222 is advised to use.

yea, set the cpu clock speed to 222 mhz when lauching the ISO. if not, it will cause your psp to crash.

make sure you set to ANY ISO and choose your iso/cso/dax

It was set to 222 mhz.
I decided to load it up on DaxISO loader and it worked!
Daxter is a cool game btw!

Devhook can only load iso and cso files.

the new devhook (0.44) can load DAX files.
but it's still a bit buggy.

There is a dehook version that works with 333 mhz,

you mayaswell get devhook as you can play mostly all iso's, with dax ur limited
