is there there any way to get the lock codes for an xbox?
and is there anyway of locking the hdd again with buying any modchips?

is your Xbox modded?
If so Slayer 2.6 can lock or unlock the hard drive.
If not modded i am not sure.

I think you can lock the HDD using some computer programs.

nope, my xbox isnt modded..

and what computer programs would do that?

you cant lock your HD with a computer program unless you have your eeprom i believe....the only way to fix this is to use a modchip...or see if a hotswap can do it..

your talking about locking and unlocking, but tell us what problem you are having if your having any, or are you just curious about locking/unlocking codes!

alright, whenever i turn the xbox on , the error code 5 comes up, and ive already read about the error codes and all that, but i still dont know how to fix it. i dont have any modchips or whatever it is, but my brothers used this action replay thing, which i think helped with the xbox breaking, but i could be wrong. so, i dont know what to do to fix the xbox. and i know NOTHING about modding and hooking the hdd to the computer, so i need help :)

Your HD is locked and the only way to unlock it would be if you had your eeprom backup you could use Xboxhdm i dont think you have your eeprom so only a modchip or maybe a hotswap could do it....a modchip will fix it forsure..
