Hey,
been using RB for a little while now; but I recently noticed that the default output DVD-5 size that RB creates come out at 4.32 GB.....now, I figured that was just fine 'til I ran the DVD through shrink and saw that I could take advantage of even more space than that on a DVD-5; so my question is: how do you change the final output size of a DVD-5 movie in DVD Rebuilder?? (Ex. changing 4 GB to 4.22 GB; so on and so forth)

In your Rebuilders ini file you need to write (inbetween path and options) TargetSectors=then the number of your choice.
edit: look here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=74356
I have set mine to 2500000, but you need to know what you are doing otherwise you will A) Your file will be to big to fit onto a blank DVD-5 disc. or B) You will burn to close to the edge and end up having alot of coasters.

Personally, the size the file comes out as now I feel is correct. Adjusting the size is not going to gain you that much, possibly only 1% to 2% off compression. Since you are using RB that is not going to be any noticeable difference in quality anyways, the movie comes out great looking all the time. You may even as pazzini states have a file that comes out too big. You really don't want to burn too near the edge anyway, unless you got some phobia about not wanting to waste that space.

4.32 gb is ideal. I don't recommend changing your target size.

@Mort81
Good morning to you, was waiting for you to weigh in on this. I don't think changing the target size will gain much, and agree it is perfect the way it is :)

Mornin' Guys;
hey, thanx for all the fast replies and I think I'll just stick with the default size; it's like the old saying goes: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." But thanks for all the suggestions anyway..
