Audio problems when using DVD Burning Xpress

Not sure if anyone else has used this program. The problem I am having is the Sound is out of sync by about 10 seconds when I convert an AVI to DVD. If anyone could tell me how to correct this I would be grateful. My apologies if this a subject that has been answered before, this is my first post here.
