What is a image recoder and vitrual drive? I actually have problem in burn video-ts withnero it burn a 1x with 8x disc and failes. Noe the resaon I ask about the virtual drive is that my computer will detect I dvdburner as a cdrom and don't know how to fix this problem. I usaully convert my AVI to dvd with winavi and when I try to burn in winavi it open up the Nero can I fix this to burn in winavi or how burn I burn the video_ts files in Nero with max speed or do I really need the virtual drive,can I set the setting to when I want to burn in Nero I will select it and when I want to burn in another program I can with out any problems. I use my Nero to back my games and winavi for dvds winavi is so much faster than Nero in converting. Can anyone help in restore the drive or troublshooting the problem without having to unistalling either program. Thanks

Virtual drive is meant to mount the image file so you don't actually have to burn to a cd. You can use dvdshrink to open the video ts files and enable burning with Nero. You need to make sure the video ts files will be able to fit onto a DVD-R disc.
