Want to play downloaded ISO

Hi I have been reading all the info regarding Devhook etc however im stil very confused - all my attempts at running games using devhook results in corrupted files.
I have Devhook 4.3 - version 2.60 psp
Copied dh folder and PSP GAME folder with ISO folder in root directory
Do i need firmware or something to make the ISO run?
Any help will be greatly appreciated ;)

Where did you get your Devhook from ?
Try this one....I know this defo works as I used it and have given it to my friends :-

Just copy the 'dh' and 'PSP' folders from the MS_ROOT folder direct to your Memory card then create an 'ISO' folder on the root of the memory stick as well.
Place your ISOs in the 'ISO' folder. Run Devhook off the Memory card.
Press 'O' then select 'UMD select'...select which game you want and then go to 'Start'....

You know im thinking the ISO might be the problem after all
Can you suggest where i can get some to try out that work for deffo?

Are you running 1.5 firmware mate????
And we can't give direct links to ISOs but I can suggest some sites.
Torrentspy.com is a good one, mininova.org and isohunt.com are also pretty good.

im not sure aboput firmware thats what confuses me?
I'm pretty sure its 2.60 thats what the readme of devhook i downloaded says.
Is that ok?

On your psp, go to system settings then system information, this will tell you which firmware you are currently running.

That's why it doesnt work then, lol....
You sure it's 2.6 ? Did you check it after you've reset the PSP ?

Ok so you need to downgrade to 1.5.
Hold on cowboy, before you get too excited about downgrading, you'll need to check if your psp has the TA-082 motherboard, if it does you shouldn't attempt the downgrade. To find out if it has the TA-082 mobo, have a look at the following link.

Hey - thanks a lot for yer message - i tried the test and it said the game could not be loaded coz data was corupted :P Nightmare!
The fired up was in a WinRAR in ISO folder - was i meant to extract that or literally just copy folders over to formatted memory card?
Gonna try and downgrade ;)

No, dont extract the Fired Up iso....it only shows as a WinRAR file because you have WinRAR on your PC (WinRAR can use ISO files you see).
Just copy it over as it is ! :)

Yeah, as damo666 says, check your Motherboard first....but the Easy Downgrader shows you how to do that anyway !

Just a couple of questions:
Where do i put the files from the DOWNDATER folder on my psp?
Also is there anyway of doing this without GTa or do i have to go rent this game :P

No, you need GTA unfortunately...only for 5 mins though...
The Downdater folder just goes in the root of the memory stick.
