Anyone remember the fantastic game called Starsiege? Followed by Tribes, followed by Tribes 2? (After tribes 2 it got shitty IMO w/ arial assault and vengeance)

It's an oldschool game... great GREAT online shooter though..

Holy crap that was starsiege?

I said on the wii forums that I had not played it but I have played tribes,vengence, and ariel assault(demo).

Yeah it was a good game you could fly around with lot's of weapons kinda like unreal in concept.

Yeah man, starsiege series, They went from lil mechs to people...

So what? Is metroid a real concept?

Haha lol well metroid not really so I see your point.

I love metroid though been playing it since I was a kid.I kinda like the mech/people sorta thing anyways.Even halo was a robocop look alike.

yeah metroid rocked.Your right.The hybrid mech and human combo is cool and has been used lot's.I hope tribes comes back.

yeah man i can't wait for there to be a new one
heard of starsiege 2021 or whatevber the project is called?
it'sa ton of diehard starsiege fans, not the ppl version the mech version and they are making a new game from SCRATCh. it's crazy... check it out

I played Tribes 2 once at a mates house and lvoed it. Then I found out you could download it free and went to grab a copy, but they had stopped giving keys :(

I liked the game but have never played it since, I think that was about 2 years ago lol.

Cool game though!

I also like tribes 2. I bought it for $10 about 4 years ago.

X2 3800, A8n deluxe motherboard, 7800GT, Xion 2 case
2GB Patriot DDR 400, Audigy 2 ZS gamer, 400GB SATA RAID 0
games Im looking forward to: bioshock, SSBB, enemy territory quake wars, halo 3
currently playing: command and conquer 3, supreme commander, counter strike, shivering isles

Yeah i mean it's an oldie but a really really good game.... It was just really underrated becuase of the mainstream games p[lus it was made by Dynamix, a part of Sierra, which didn't really help for cool games.... Sierra wsa more known for the kiddie games... like the Incredible machine lol.

But yeah it was a really tight game, people still play it, idont, but people do, and yeah if you ever do play it again try out the UltraX mod servers
