action replay not workin on ps2 slim

i think i have version2 or 1 its not a a max and when i put it into my ps2 slim it saids please instert a formatted playstaion ro playstaion 2 game disk and its all red, but when i put the ps1 cd that also came with it it works fine..WHAT SHALL I DO!?!?

the problem with the action replay ps2 disc works only for the fat ps2 but not for the slim ps2 I really don't know the problem with that may be because of the format. the one you have the psone bonus disc should work so hard to say why it doesn't load up. your going to have to get action replay max for your slim
