my mobo is p4v88 and it support sata 1.5gb/s but i don't know if this mobo support SATA 2 3.0gb/s. can some1 give me advise.

Nope i does not it supports only SATA up to 1.5gb/s !

thanks for the reply.
i just pick up one sata 2 hd western digital (WD1600js).
and there is a jumper to enable sata 150MB/s operation.

Hey,

I have an A8N-SLI mobo what sata does that support??

there only two types of sata drive. ( sata 1.5gb/s & sata 2 support 3.0gb/s). for your it support 3.0gb/s
