I have been hearing that DVD Decrypter is the best for making ps2 back-ups... Yet I've never gotten it to work. Just yesterday I tried to make a back-up disk for one of my favorite ps2 games because it keeps getting left out by friends and other random people who seem to go through my crap. I was scared something would happen to it. So I sat down and tried to get a copy... and once I was done, the ps2 could not read the disk. I'm sure I made a completely retarded mistake... but how do I do it with decrypter?

You do have a modchip or swap magic disc RIGHT?

Where can I get those disks? And what is the pricing on something like that? >.> I thought that the dvd things would work... So, well, that was my retarded mistake. Oh well, this is the first time i've done this...

have a search online or your local game shop MIGHT have them. swap magic is about 30-40 (maybe cheaper), modchip is about that or less, but you have to pay for installation for the chip as well. read the sticky on what these things do and which is better
