Hi there, I know that the questions Im going to ask have been answered a zillion times but I just cant seem to increase my download or upload speed. Im tried opening the ports manually plus turning off my firewall and allowing only certain ports to be opened, permitted those ports also in Norton Anitvirus. Ive already typed in my my gateway adress in my browser, but no page shows up. I use the Motorola SB4200E cable modem, Windows XP. It says only port 6881 is opened.
Ive been downloading files for 2 weeks now and my rate is always either between 2KB to 14KB and upload rate is between 0-5KB. My combined download rate is at 75KBs but each individual file is either at 2-15kbs. I used to use BitTornado but just using Bittorrent, where the download speeds are so slow. And yes I also set my rates to at least 90. What am I doing wrong? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
