Look on the homepage of www.ps2nfo.com and look at there latest thing on umd_tools.rar that was leaked. What potential could this have?
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

This wasn't "leaked". It was an actual homebrew release. I can't remember what it lets you do, but nothing worthwhile, else I'd have it. This was released like 8 months ago.

This isn't homebrew of any kind. It's part of the PSP SDK kit.

R u guys shure its the same thing as on ps2nfo? The link in quanos post looks like something made by the guy there. On ps2nfo it seems completely something else.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Because I want them and who wouldn't want to have this software. This is worth a couple of grand.

No I haven't tried using it.
Right now you can't make your own ISO games. It's missing that part of the SDK kit. This leak only allows you to make custom PMF gameboots(For now at least).

Sure no problem.
This basically breaks down the programs in the download.
"UMD Image Checker" - Checks umd/iso file structure
"UMD Image Generator" - Generates valid iso file according to umd spec
"UMD Stream Composer" - PMF encoder
"UMD Stream Viewer" - View PMF files on pc

Off Topic: The Development kits for Blu-ray and HD-DVD run $60,000 EACH. That's flippin crazy. 120 Grand if you wanna develop for both Blu-ray and HD-DVD.
