My xbox 360 has a "red light around the power button" and i try to turn it on but nothing happens, what's Wrong with it?

Did you tamper with it or try a mod? I hope not because it looks like you will have to send it to MS for repairs or buy a new one

once my 360 did that and i unpluged it for an hour or so thne hooked it back up and it worked..P.S. my modded Xbox 1 has a red light on it...
