gaming target.com has releasted an article say they have found the Wii release date

look at the ant bully video game commercial

it says it is coming out or the wii but the ant bully movie and game is released in august so why release a wii version without a system to play it on

October 2nd seems about right .. any other of those dates and the Wii would overshadow the release of the DS games, or be after the PS3 launch.

so your saying that the ps3 and wii willn't get madden cuz it comes out before the launch
or nfs carbon it comes out in october but the ps3 doesn't come out to nov 17th

my point is games can still come out for multi systems at diffrent times

Good point and actually that happens all the time.Even gta san andreas didn't come out for a while for xbox as opposed to ps2.I know that was because sony had them under contract but it's a good example.

@smacyo137 no problem, believe it or not I was a senior member when I finally learned it.I felt stupid when I found out lol.

I know.Why not hype it up.historically consoles have not done well when they just surprise everyone and one day you walk in and it's on the shelves.However for me it would be cool I'm just saying from a marketing perspective it seems like a stupid idea.

if you hype it up you'll get alot of sales
but
if you hype it up to much and dont come through or push it back
some ppl are gona get pissed
so if they can come through with October 2
thats good cuz its out b4 the ps3 and that will help

Well i say have some confidence.
Last year MS announced their date half a year b4 amd they made it to launch.
Sure it was not near to close to a perfect launch but aleast they stuck to most of what they said.
Best of all they kept to the date dispite shortages

If you ask me that seems a little early...i would of thought they wanted to hit the christmas so people will buy it for gifts. Beginning of october seems a little early for that...could be wrong though i suppose

Well they can catch the early shoppers. plus they'll have distribution up by then so they wont have any shortage problems. They're giving them self a time cache
