I really have no idea what i am doing so can someone explain to me how to get halo 2 maps onto your computer and then how to mod them and eventually get the maps back onto the xbox.

Okay boys I'm here to help. If your xbox is softmodded turn it on and wait for the dash to come up. Put the game in the xbox that you want on your computer. Open FlashFXP and connect to your xbox. Once you are connected open the D drive and drag over everything that is in it to your computer. If that worked then you now have the game on your computer. If you have problems or need help just ask.

ok i tryed connecting it sayed it failed and timed out i entered my IP and username and password:xbox but it wont connect i plugged my ethernet cord into my comp from my x box but i wont work...
plz help

p.s. im not exacly sure what to do with the ethernet cable so can u help with me on that 2.

If you are directly connected then you need a crossover cable. If you are using a router just use a normal ethernet cable. You might need to change your Deafault Gateway or the last few digits of your IP Address on your xbox depending on your router. When you have your xbox and computer connected and you turn on your xbox a note will come up in the bottom right corner from the "Local Area Connection" spot saying something about limited activity. Click on that and change the IP Address to the same as the xbox's.

Umm..yeah im like the ultimate cheater modded every map and everything. I've had that trouble b4 it might be that ur computer is just old so u want to put the Proxy Server thing at the bottom on NONE No proxies needed. Or Most happened The static IP doesnt work and u need to change it to Disable(DHCP) aka Automatic config. and then the IP changes and then u try that new IP and if it doesnt work then AIM me --alexbreezy
