Wireless+Wired Routers on Same Connection?

Alright, so I have a standard linksys wired router for my cable internet connection. My bedroom is way in the back of the house and I didn't want cables all over the place so I went and bought a wireless router and a wireless pci card for my computer. now I want to know if I can keep my wired router online because there's 2 computers connected to the wired router, but I want to be able to get online with my computer off of the wireless router, I know it's all jumbled and messed up, but I am now very confused about the whole thing, if there's anything I need to clarify, let me know. Any help would be well appreciated!

What model is the wireless router? A typical wireless router by linksys, d-link, etc will still have 4 wired ports along with the wireless capability. Replace your old router with the new wireless one, and wire the 2 pc's to the wireless router. Pop the PCI wireless card in the other pc and you should be good to go.

Alright, my wireless router is a Linksys WRT54G, and the wired one is a Linksys BEFSR41. I did as you said and hooked everything up to the wireless router, but now I've noticed a decrease in all around speed, it's very lethargic and slow. With the wired router, speeds were pretty much phenomenal, and constant. With the wireless, speeds are a little lackluster and fluctuate up and down. Could this all be because of my router?
