BTJunkie,

Are you looking to create 1 DVD or 2 DVD?

Creating 2 DVD would require less work. Here is how I do it...

Convert your AVI file, using Nero Vision, to dvd format

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946

Then use DVD Lab Pro and Demux the video and audio. Then add video, audio, and subtitles all together. Next compile new dvd. Here is a simple guide...

Finally use Nero to burn DVD.

Do the same for 2nd part of the movie.

Thanks for the input nasayin but i am looking to make one dvd. I am looking to join the two video files with the two .srt subtitles to make one movie on one dvd.

For 1 DVD, you can use Nandub to combine the 2 AVI files. Convert that AVI file to mpeg2. Then use subtitle workshop and combine the .srt files. But make sure you add additional time at the end of the first .srt file or else there will be a delay.

Finally use dvd lab pro to put everything together.

you could do the two dvds to your hdd (file mode) as nasayin suggested and then merge them with Nero recode 2 into 1 dvd and burn
