Hey,this could just be my opinion but it seems Sony is losing exclusives either completely or sharing them on a regular basis and MS is their to scoop them up. For example the former exclusives raw vs smackdown series is now postponed to late 2007 as i will provide the link at the bottom.MS dished out some cash to have GTA releases a month early on the 360 and get exclusive content.while this may not seem like much to me it shows sony is the powerhouse it once was. It will be losing a big part of its non hardcore fanbase to price(most of japan will get the wii) and that indirectly helps MS gain on sony.On top of that it istn the exclusive beast it once was,Nintendo has always had mario,metroid prime,zelda and so on so they have their exclusives and now MS has games like too human,gears of war,mass effect,viva pinata(for the kids and some older people),rockstar table tennis,HALO 3. SO add those exclusives with some of the killer titles that they now share with sony such as GTA and raw vs smackdown they seem to be doing great.Another thing people dont look at is that MS gets tons of the killer PC ports which for a person like me who deosnt play the PC cause i suck wit the mouse and keyboard its great to able to play F.E.A.R and games of that caliber...also Prey is a game that is being ranted and raved about that is on both the 360 and PC. Also theres oblivion,well im gonna stop there because i think i got my point across.
My point is so many people are skeptical of the 360 saying sony has the better games and hardware in order to justify its $600 price tag but in when reality u can get tons of amazzing games for both consoles so really just buy what you want and dnot let the public influence you.Im tired of seeing sony fans rant and rave that the 360 isnt next gen and blah blah blah with all the fanboy talk. People who got the 360 were able to get a next gen console a full year before any fan of any other console was.
its not my style but its being raved as the game thats chagning the fps genre.I dont like oblivion but that doesnt make it a bad game so its all a matter of public opinion vs private opinion.On the whole prey and oblivion are great games but im not that big of a fan of them
I wasn't blown away by Prey myself. It's good, but nothing I haven't seen before. Personally I'm getting a little tired of fps. Although I was never a huge fan of them anyway. On a side note, none of the PS3 exclusives intest me all that much except Heavenly Sword and Assasin's Creed with the latter not coming out until 2007 anyway.
