I'm about to buy a pocketdish AV500E but before I do I was hoping someone could answer some questions.

I have read a lot of reviews and found that the AV500E is more convient and has a better picture than the AV700E. Since there are no local store that sell them I can't even see the difference.

Is this true?

If I rip a dvd will it play on this device? I was thinking smaller files means less hard drive space used. I am also getting a satellite reciever 625 (I think). Will this connect fine?

Any information and comments will be appriecated.
