You say you had Nero 7 installed before and switched back to 6. Plus you have roxio installed. You can't have both installed at the same time. So I suggest following Gwen's advice first and run the zapper for roxio. Then run the clean tool for Nero six first then 7

Then you can install version 7.0.8.2 from here which is bug free for the most part:

thank you i did not know that roxio and Nero clashed when i bought roxio i was told it would work and also if i added other burning softwares like Nero there would be no problems thanks again and very sorry for the double posts still new at posting
