my delema is this. I like to use bittorrent...alot! but my pops has a program that looks at mthe router histers and he can see when I've been using bittorrent. He has it in his head that when I use it that I am in fact granting everybody access to our entire network. I can't find a e-mail to ask the developers bout these isseus so I'm kinda at an impass. I do have a psp and access to a library wifi. but without a bittorrent that works on my psp I'm screwed. I have recently read that bittorrent is open to developers to mod it for there own personal use. so I'm asking everybody out there, is there a psp version for bittorrent?

Cant use bittorrent on your psp, if you use bitcomet you can encrypt your data, and using bittorent, you wont let people see your network. Noob father eh!

you ain't kiddin there. but he thinks that cause of my grandpa. my grandpa hs been playing with puters since the begining. so I don't know. I know limewire is a risk for that kinda stuff but bittorrent from what I've seen is only for files that you make torrents for. so if there are no torrents for the files on your puter then nobody even knows they are there! but try telling a would be computer geek of 54 anything theese days! I just need to get a place of my own...is there anybody out there that burns stuff for others for a small fee and mails them to people? thats the only way I can get the stuff right now...it blows bad!

why dont you get yourelf an ip hider that way you can reasure your pops that your ip is well hidin an no-one knows what your up to?
thats what my mate had to do after he got an e-mail from universial studio's tellin him to stop d/l there films lol
P.s i'd happily burn u anything your lookin for...for a fee :D

An ip hider? Lets know what we are talking about, its called a proxy. I wouldnt start offering others pirated material for a fee, and will report that as fast as humanly possible.

ya now I mainly go after jap versions of anime I already have! and I have some old H-game that are so scratched up I can't use them! I don't pirate shit! I'm strait and narrow! cause I know the warden of the local prison and he said that if he ever gets me in there he'll put me with bubba on cell block d! and thats no bull shit!

A proxy basically spoofs your external IP address, so for your purposes, it will work fine. Be warned though, proxies will cause your connection to slow to the halt, your dl speeds will be grealty reduced.

kool I'll try looking in the windows forum then. if theres anybody here who has used the proxy before, could you tell me what to look out for problems that is? I'm inexperienced at the proxy thing and anyhelp is better than none.

I just told you, your dl speeds will be slow. And also, a proxy doesnt mean you wont be found out. I personally dont have the know how to do it, but many people are able to get around your proxy and see your true IP. Pray your pops isnt one of these people.
