Looks like I killed my xbox360 :(

I reflashed my hitachi drive and guess it flashed bad. I restarted my xbox then and error came up so I hooked it back up to the my sata cable and restarted my computer with the live cd and it did'nt find the hitachi drive this time. I restarted in windows pluged the sata cable to the 360 and my computer froze and I restated the computer agin samething froze. so it looks like my xbox360 is done :(

Why don't you try to force it into mode B with the cross wire trick and try to reflash?

well I did the 2 wire trick nothing windows locked up when sata connected to 360. I think the 360 hitachi dvdrom firmware is gone from the dvdrom I have the backed up bin from 360 rom drive.Can I buy a new 360 dvd drive and install it? or is my 360 garbage now?

What type of PC. It probly wont be as easy as you would hope because you need to keep the heat sink and fan in about the same spot to make sure your prossecor dosen't overheat. If you put enough time and thought into it than im sure you could. I personaly haven't seen it done.

when you do two wire trick and then PC is suppose to lock up. You have to eject the 360 DVD drive when it does to continue.

the pc i have is a dell optiplex gx260 (which is only slightly larger than the 360)the problems iv encountered so far is the sound card sticks up to high and the heats sink and fan also stick up to high. can i get a sound card cable (or something) so i can mount it horizontal, also is it posible to trim off 1/3 off the hight of the heatsink???

I'm not sure about the sound card, but I do know NOT to trim you Heat sink because you will have major problems with overheating in the summer.
