I was just wondering if someone could please help me, I am going crazy. I have 1.52 firmware and am trying to upgrade to 2.0 , but everytime I put it on my psp it keeps on saying that the file is corrupted. What is the cause of this and what can I do to fix this. I really want to start running 2.0 firmware. Please someone help.

you need to make a folder called UPDATE in your PSP/GAME folder and put the eboot on the UPDATE folder

dont you have a game with 2.0 update files onit? btw what hodgins said should work perhaps you have a dodgy eboot. Try it with something else

I did what Hodgins told me to do and the thing still said that the file could not be started because it was corrupted. What causes this.

Get the EBOOT.PBP from pspupdates.com their trustworthy ;) the file structre should be like this D:-->PSP-->GAME-->UPDATE-->EBOOT.PBP

Go to the PSP XMB (the eboot.pbp file should be 14-17 mb) and launch the update from game...

i still cant get it to work. My psp still keeps on saying that the file is corrupted. do i have to convert my psp 2.0 firmware upgrader or what. I just cant seem to get it to work. please someone help me.
