OK guys! HHHHelp me, please! I bought a new PC, one that has a DVD burner and I cant even use it. It's the DVD-R/CD multi-recorder type.

1. I downloaded the DVD Decrypt software and
placed the movie onto my HD with as a video ts file. that part worked perfectly....

2. Then I opened "Instant Copy" and tried to copy the video TS file to a blank DVD-R, 4.7 gb.
The movie started doing it's thing for about 1.5 hours, I thought "yeah baby! this is gonna work!"

3. BUT! after about 1.5 hours the DVD-R drive pops open and I get an error message, not even text explaining the problem, just

error:00000/00000000000/ junk.

I have tried the process over and over with no obvious reasons as to why it wont record from my HD over to the DVD???

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG HERE? <cring>
Please if anyone can simplify this for a dumb blonde, please help me. :-(

Try Nero instead is the quick answer. I used to have 'instant copy' and it wouldn't burn a single DVD. Now I have virtually a 100% success rate.

Thanks guys for the helpful tips...but I'm still at wits end here tring to figure this out.

OK, I did the dvd-decript and saved the movie on my c:/ drive in a video_ts format.

When I go to DVD2One, I start the program, leave it on the 'english' and then, d:/ as my source drive and c:/video_ts as the destination.

I click nest....it goes to another window, "select the title you want to process" and its blank, theres no titles to choose from, so I cant continue. ??????????????

Also...after using dvd-decript, it DID allow me to copy the movie onto my hard drive, I can play the movie without the dvd in. so, I know that worked...when I tried to save it from the HD location onto a blank DVD using INSTANT COPY....it will go through a 1-2 hour process and then when it starts to copy onto the DVD, the drive pops open and a get the error message (this last time I tried) it said "no sense:oooo/ and a bunch of numbers" STRANGE!

I have searched the borads to try and find an answer, but have been unsuccesful. Thanks for reading this, please help if you can.

download deamon tools program, while will
make a virtual drive (new drive letter)
i.e-possibly drive E
mount new drive with ISO image made

if dvd viewing program start stop that
program.

start dvd2one , sourse new drive (e)
desination VIDEO_TS directory you have
alresdy made some where on hard drive

the then still have to write disc
correctly using your instant cd/dvd v6.5

Hi,
You don't need to go through the process of mounting an ISO. Using DVDdecryter in file mode will work fine. Go to:
www.doom9.org
Select "Guides", then select "DVD backup guides", then select "DVD2one". This guide explains step by step through DVDdecrypter (ripping), DVD2one (compressing), and burning (but you can use any burning program you prefer, I think "CopyTo DVD" is the most amazing program I have ever found).

Enjoy
