I was reading a post in another forum, for curiosity purposes only moderators ;-) and one stated that this person was able to split a movie onto two seperate disks and then, wait for it, use double sided adhesive and stick the disks together, perfectly in line of course. This person claims it worked. However, that seems kinda strange to me.

Anybody know about this? Anybody fancy trying it out and letting me know.

Now there's a thought, but you still have to get up and swap the discs over.

It may work, however the height of the 'new' disc may be TOO thick to sit on the spindle tightly.

I have just opened up my PS1 and placed 2 dvdr on the spindle, they actually just went on but the bottom disc was the disc that was retained - therefore the stress point will be on the glue itself - needs to be good glue that doesn't react with the disc and be able to withstand a reasonable temperature.(of course in line)

By accident once, I put another dvd on top of another in my dvdrom drive - the result was crack, smash, bang - in that order, sadly the dvd on top did not survive.

Unfortunately, I shall not be attempting it - due to the fact that most dvd carrier systems are differently manufactured, plus expensive to replace.

Maybe someone has the nuts outthere to try - I am a mouse..........(interesting though)
