i have 1.5 firmware try to play a jap naruto file with fastloader or umdloader nothing works what can i do also pls explain in detail cuz i read the other threads an none of them are specific and if they r they don't work czu i did what they said.

the thing is when i download it it updates my psp firmware also it doesn't let me use my eboot file of wipout pure or my fastloader anyways so i should just use the devhook from now on and delete the fastloader.

Delete Fastloader and UMDEmulator and just use Devhook.... :)

Yeah just create an ISO folder and put your ISOs in there, same as Fastloader

ok thats done but how about some more info like why it restarts my psps system and turns ti to 2.7 and why when i try to click on it again it say file corrupted just specific don't give me just a sentence cuz then we r gonna be replying back and forth all day.

OK, Devhook EMULATES firmware, so after you have run Devhook your PSP will show as 2.7 fw (or whatever, depending upon what Devhook you have).
Because it is in 2.7fw mode you will be unable to run any Emulators, Homebrew, etc....
If you want to change to a differnet game on your Memory Stick then hold down the 'HOME' button and press 'R' to cycle through ISOs you have on your Memory Stick. You will see the ISO names on the bottom left corner of the screen. Give it a few seconds and you will see the UMD icon appear under the Game menu. Just select the UMD option to run the ISO you have selected.
If you want to run anything else then you will need to reboot the PSP by holding up the power button until it goes off. When you switch it back on it will back to 1.5fw which will allow you to run what you want !!

Right well lets start again then.....
I take it you have more than one ISO in the ISO folder ? Right...once you press HOME and R you see your ISO choice at the bottom of the screen. Move to the GAME menu and wait for a few seconds. You will see the UMD icon appear under that menu and it should show the game you selected.

i only have one iso file the the iso folder when i press r and home the name shows it the dispears i move the menu like u ask still no umd icon thanks for putting up with me anyways and i'm sorry for getting mad but i'm affaid i will never get this to work.

But can you get the game to work initially through Devhook ?
Have you got a UMD in the drive ? (Im not sure if this is necessary but I always have one in anyway)

use these settings in devhook
UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
this should work fine now

do a hard reset so your starting with 1.5 firmware then click on devhook,itll load up till you get the options and fill it in like i said above

k i got it to work thanks to BurnCK even though he forgto to tell me u need a umd to be in the psp for it ot work see i knew ya forgot soemthing ya silly lol. and ya got mad at me like i was doing it wronge jk.
