there have been several post about a downgrader for 2.70 that are fakes:

this website will only leave you with a bricked psp
as for the 2.71 if there hasent been a 2.70 downgrade there ovbiousley wont be a 2.71!
if you want to downgrade your 2.70 or 2.71 wait untill the real downgrader comes out on a trusted site like www.psp-hacks.com

actually i tried it and it just gave me an error, then returened to XMB.
I just wanted to prove to everyone it didnt work. I tried it on fw 2.6 though but i figure 2.7 has more security anyways.

i just felt bad cuz some noob wud post wat he thinks is a valid downgrader and another noob not knowing it doesnt work ends up briking his/her psp! its sad realy!

I could tell it wasnt going to work by the procedure. Shut off your PSP before the eboot loads completly and swap the memory stick with the 1.5 eboot. Sony obviously would think of something like this before they made the 2.7 Update.

LOL i dont know about you but i wouldnt trust people with my PSP that cant spell correctly. And yes that is a 2.6 PSP with devhook on it for no reason.

Its not impossible. This downgrader may be crap like a few others but for all you know are real downgrader could come out tommorow. Sorta like 2.0, nobody was expecting an exploit to be found anytime soon after it came out.

Well even if it could get you down to 2.6 you could downgrade with dArkAlex downgrader.
@ipirate you forgot one other good coder: Humma Kavula. He was the one who started the whole PSP iso thing with fastloader.
