About Xbox 360 Firmware Hack

I have been reading different things about the Xbox 360 firmware hack and I have been wanting to join the scene but I'm stuck.

First off I don't know to hack my firmware. I need someone to link me to a tutorial or teach me how or something.

Second, when trying to burn a game how do you extract an ISO from one of your Xbox 360 games?

If someone could help me out I'd be greatly appreciated!

First you need to find out what drive you have:
http://pictures.xbox-scene.com/xbox360/dvd/allthreedvdsxs.jpg
Left is a phillips, middle is a hitachi/lg, and right is a samsung/toshiba.

You'll need Adobe reader to open the pdf's. It's a free download. You can get it directly from Adobe's site.

Firmware hacks are only a couple of month's old, so there are alot of different guides and hacked firmware's available. The problem is that alot of the guides have mistakes and alot of the firmwares are buggy.

I believe the lastest firmware for the samsung is the xtreme2.0
