hello i have a serious problem and have tried everything to fix it,my sons xbox is softmodded it has done great today i tried to change the drive to f for more harddrive space and i also changed the clock time when i rebooted all im getting is a message xbox live not connected it wont boot to evox or anything can someone pleeeeeze get me off the hook my sons ready to kill me.

so u changeed the HDD letter, this is what it sounds like to me (the error you are getting is because you changed you drive letter and now the ms dash cant find you xbox live account) can you try to deleate your old account and re-create it?

(P.S. Hardmods are better)

in order for the MS-Dash to work right it must think ur xbox is "the way microsoft made it," do you have linux on the box?,(can you boot into linux?) if so remap the drive to letter c: im sorry im not a bigger help, i know more about hardmods then softmods. will the xbox boot to disc?, if so there are disterbutions of linux such as my favorite, Knoppix that will boot entirely off cd-rom and do not require you install them to hdd, if you can get into there you can change ur drive letter back, you could also get Suse linux

the only disk it has let me boot to is xbox grand theft auto but no homebrews also not sure if its linux

What'd you use to soft mod it? Since it can still boot originals, there's still some hope left for you :)

Provided the exploit save is still on your hard drive, just load up whatever game was used (Mechassault, Splinter Cell, or 007), load up the exploit save, and try to fix the problem from there.
