Is there a way to load a umd disc using devhook? Cos I tried countless times but cannot succeed.
1) Game umd in psp, tries to load via dh, screen hangs at starting(black screen).
2) load 2.71 fw from dh, put umd into psp, psp hang.
Eh..so is there a step by step thingy to guide me how to use a umd disc via devhook? Help would be appreciated thanks!

It will also be renamed to "disabled". It's a good idea to apply the firmware spoof to something like 13.37 then your psp wont get updated until somethin higher then that comes out. Which is likely to be never.

true, i remember reading on a thread before, that in a firmware update sony by law has to tell you every single thing that is going ot be included in it, like at present they only say about new features etc and not the security patches etc, so in a way it could be considered as spyware etc or something like that lol
