my netork is wireless simular to the pic shown below except i have a hub, my question is, instead of a wireless adapter for the xbox can i get a patch cable and plug it into my hub to FTP

Will your PC be on wireless or is it connected to the hub?

yes there are two PCs on the wireless network, they both have a wireless card in them. A wireless signal gets sent to both they are not connected through wires. i will use only one for FTP, the hub plugs in to the router allowing me to acess the net so what i want to do is to plug the patch cable into the hub from the xbox, will that let me FTP

it should and if that doesnt work take the ethernet cable nd computer via xbox it and it should FTP if it is softmodded or chipped
