basically it plays the same like tekken 5 but more of a 5.5
added extra characters and mods and new movies.
out of 10 - its an 8, would have been higher - controls on psp is not that great compared to arcade and ps2 but its the psp pad design fault and not the game.
Great game overall.

can we play that game without buying the UMD. eg ver 1.5 cant play unless u upgrade yr system rite??? i am not sure???

@basil111 - hmmn piracy is highly illegal but possible.
download the tekken dark ressurection (ripped version)
install dev hook .46 on memory stick
put ISO game on ISO folder on the root directory of memory stick.
run dev hook on psp with proper settings.
NO DO NOT UPGRADE EVER (Keep 1.5 forever)
@josh try setting it at an easier level. and also learn the 10-hit combos.

I dont see how u guys dislike the controls. I like this version better then any PS2 version of tekken ever. I can school characters all day on the hardest setting. Too easy.

on the back of the umd box they say you can download stuff is that true
and an other thing i found that the moves are silly like hard to do

no idea about downloads at the moment, i did check, tekken dark ressurection offical english website not yet up. namco(us) doesnt have any download available. tekken official website japan dont have either.
as for the moves, if your a first time tekken player its gonna be hard learning from scratch, find some combo/move guide at gamefaqs and you can practice em at your psp (i advice praticing on tekken 5 on ps2 for ease of control)

yes there is but its distracts you from playing and is incomplete.
nowadays you must learn air juggles to compete with other players or you'll just die not even giving em a pinch.
UPDATE: please read
it seems tekken has its own online server. if you can connect your psp to internet your all set up. play tekken then choose network. sorry i cannot test this for i havent bought the proper wifi router.

i played from the first tekken arcade (heck i even started from the almighty NES fuck atari and clones wahaha) but i never evolved like other players did, i can only play smart, do 10-hits, infinite from jun, grabs by king (yeah rolling craddle) and nina snaps, i hate eddy. paul is my main character.
official tekken game owners have a d-pad numb included in the game, please feedback if this thing help overcome the control problems?

hi psp ppl.
I cant get tekken to work using devhook 0.46. I used the ultimate installer to install devhook 0.46 but i cant play tekken with it. Can anyone tell me how to make it work? plzzz help me !!!!

They have said the only possibilities...either your missing files in devhook, or you iso is corrupt. Seeing that this is a devhook game, there is no prx swap's or bin decrypting needed, so your only options are to reinstall devhook or find a new iso.
