I just got a psp and heard ppl say that u can download games in it. Is it really possible if it is pplz give me the steps on how to download it and wat i have to download.

yes you can!
demo games if your psp firmware is 2.7 and up (us.playstation.com)
(to check turn on psp without umd go to system setting>system information)
if you have 2.0/2.1/2.5(non-TA-082)/2.6(non-TA-082) you can downgrade to 1.5 which can play backup games.
give more info like your psp firmware version so we can provide you the step by step instructions you need. ^_^ gaming

I have a 1.5 psp and I was wondering step by step how to download games. This would be really good and save me a butt load of money.

hey here are the simple steps on how to do so but first download devhook 0.45 from googleing it connect usb to pc install it on 2.71 firmware then make a ISO named folder on memory stick root... download game isos from bit torrent or anywhere else and then put them in the folder.. load devhook in these settins
2xx
anyumd iso
FW 2.71
and choose ur iso

Just to make sure no one got confused you get a dump of the 2.71 firmware but do not upgrade to 2.71 because then your screwed and can't do anything.

If you just got if from the store you might have a TA-082 motherboard or even the latest firmwares, which will prevent you from playing backup games.

I hope you would still buy some games, atleast the best ones. I've had too many ppl ask about making backups of their PS2 games, only to find out it wasn't theirs but a friend's copy they didn't intend on buying.

all u can do is wait for a downgrader for 2.8 or a higher firmware. or get the undiluted platinum modchip which needs to be expertly installed.

you could do it but there is 20+ 1mm wires. One wrong slip of the soldering and there goes a perfectly good motherboar.d

Hi I have 2.6 firmware. First, will this work for backups, if it does do I need to load 1.5 firmware before i can do this?. Thanks for your help.
