I like the capabilities of Nero (I'm using v.6), but I have one huge complaint. Whenever I create an audio CD and I add my files to the list, Nero automatically pulls what it thinks is the artist and track title info from the filename. It is almost always wrong.
For instance, for the file "Track 01.wav," it assumes the artist is "Track" and the title is "01." Thus when I transfer the data into Nero Cover Designer, part of the track information is missing. If there needs to be an artist, I'd like it to be the artist of the whole CD and have Nero leave my track titles alone.
Nero keeps a local data base for your music, or it can go to the internet, or both. Have you checked to see if you told it to use the user database, and if so, has it been updated. Cover Designer only gets what information it is given, and if Nero is saying track 01 without the specifics, you haven't allowed it to retrieve the information correctly.
But, if you prefer, you can always do the Cover Designer manually and enter what you want, or maybe even set up the user database, but I have never tried that.
