I got back from a 2 month break recently and my Sharp Aquos won't seem to turn on. I think it might be the power supply but I'm not very sure.

Heres the thing... the local repair will do a diagnostic for $90. I could go that route and also pay for the repair and parts fee. Or i could get a new power supply, which is $130. If I bring it in for repair and it turns out the problem is just the power supply, I would have to pay $90 + $130. If I buy a new power supply and that's not the problem, I would be wasting $130.

So my question is this, How do I figure out if the problem is in my power supply or not?
If the problem is with the TV itself, should the power supply be getting warm when I have everything plugged in? Right now when everything is plugged in, the power supply doesnt seem to be doing anything and stays nice and cool.
