Hey Guys,

I'm not much of a Racing Fan, but my dad is. He bought PGR3 and was very disappointed. His anniversary is coming up and my mom wants to get him the best racing game. He loves Grand Tourism. The Main reason is he likes to modify the cars himself. We are looking for a game that has actual race tracks like on TV and stuff, where you can modify your car (Gear Ration, suspension, etc.) What would be the best game for him?

Man if your talking about the 360..then id say MotoGP'06. Its too cool..you can adjust gears suspension your tires and your sensitivtys but other than that its just part upgrades. You can fix the bikes and custumize them just right apprearence wise. Its a mortacycle game...but this is coming from a guy who loves car games like Gran Turismo[btw i have all 4]. I also recomend Need for speed Most Wanted..only cuz of the great gameplay...but still MotoGP'06 tops all and matches the potential of the Gran Turismo Series. But if you have a 360 with a HDD try the online demo before you buy it for him...its extremly addictive and challenging, it takes skill and love. But once you have the skill...its the best..the feel for speed is imense!

hands down if he doesn't mind it being a motorcycle instead of a car...Moto Gp is the best driving game out now....

Ya he wouldn't like test drive because he dosen't like the cops and stuff like that. He just wants it to be a pure raceing type of game, Modifying the Car, racing on real life tracks. I will download the demo for Moto Gp tonight thanks guys.

well if u dont want a simulation i would say get radge racer is the BEST racing game it is VERY long lasting LOTS AND LOTS OF LEVELS and the online is GREAT!

man, i just played PGR3 demo at walmart, i dont know if it was because of the demo or overheating or whatever, but the game was running at 20 fps. now the reason i persionally would get a video gam,e console instead of using my PC is so i can get decent frames- 30 fps constant. that game was just un acceptable.

anyone can confrim this? does you pgr3 game run at like 2 fps. if you look at the right edge of teh screen where the croud would be then you can see the lag.
