I downloaded 'Devhook v0,46 Ulimate installer v1.1.1' and I followed the 'Dev Hook .46 Super Guide'. I have the same settings as in the guide. I also placed the games (ISO/CSO files) in the correct folder. When I selected the game I want to play in Devhook and pressed start, then the PSP reboots and start in the FW 2.71, but the games will not start. In 2.71 XMB I can cycle between ISO/CSO by pressing HOME + L or HOME + R, but the games will not start. I can shift between FW 1.5 and FW 2.71 without any problems. Games are start in FW 1.5 with fastloder. Any ideas what can cause this?
what format was ur ISO in?? was it ciso or dax?? go to select umd in ur devhook and see if the ISO that u placed on the ISO folder in the root of ur memory card appear. sometimes, devhook cant detect certain types of ISO. maybe u can use umdgen to save an ISO into another ISO and then try putting in on the root of ur memory card! if u need additional help, PM me.
I tought that Devhook doesn't require UMD disc in the tray. If I put UMD disc in the tray it says that the region code is not correct (disc can not be started). Can this cause the the games doesn't load? How can I change the region? Regarding the format of the ISO files. I don't know what format the ISO files are created in. I have also tried to load CSO formated games and these will not start. When I cycle between games I can see where they are placed exaple: 'ms0:/ISO/lara.iso'. What format is more accepted by Devhook?
I don't know the region of FW 2.71, but my original FW 1.5 is Europe. All my UMD discs are working fine in FW 1.5. If I don't put the ISO files in the corect folder, then they are not visible in Devhook (UMD selection or by pressing HOME + L or HOME + R,). Can I change the UMD selection path in the Devhook? Does Devhook require UMD disk in the tray?
or use an sample disc. did u do what i said, it happens to me before too. u have to open the ISO using umdgen and on the file tab, go to save as ISO then type the name of the ISO u wanted to save as. after it's done, just drag it in the ISO folder on the root of ur memory card. remember u have to have a umd disc in it and it must be a game one.
