I've got v1.3 firmare for my xbox 360 and a hitachi drive...but I can't seem to get my xbox out of mode b all the time, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't...i've had someone else install it, but can't get a hold of them...

does anyone know of the concrete foolproof method of getting out of mode b to play burnt games and regular games ALL THE TIME!!??

It should be out of mode b when you power off. Are you saying the green light in the middle is flashing all the time? That's mode b.

yes it is flashing all the time...and ejects the drive and what not constantly...it worked last night and for a bit this morning...but otherwise it's not working all the time, i might scrap it and get the original back...
