Hi,
I just got a gameshark from my friend and i started to play my ps1 backups i had on my ps2 now. This is my first time booting my ps1 backups this on ps2. If anyone else uses gameshark to boot their ps1 backups can u help me with this Q?
When u swap the disc and press X. i hear this "whirring" sounds b4 the game starts up. Is that normal? does it dmg my ps2 in any ways?

thnx

I'm not entirely sure if the "whirring" you're hearing is exactly what I'm thinking of, but it's probably just the cdrom drive getting the disc back up to speed. If that's the case it's the same as if you were using an original copy of a game, and that's the way the gameshark works. It should be fine.
