Hi, i recently bought swap magic 3,6 to play some backups of heavy damaged discs and its working well,

But ive recently bought the sims 2 for ps2 now and loading shit with clothes etc. is really taking ages so i wanted to ask how i can boot it from usb device?

I already made an iso but renaming the iso to elf wont work.

The files in the iso are:

Data.dir
Default.NGH
IOPSKU2.dat
SLES_537.18
IOPRP300.IMG
System.CNF

Ive placed it all on a usb device in a dir called swapmagic but now i onbly get black screens if i try to rename one of the files to swapmagic.elf.

So im hoping to get an answer here.

Just rebuild the game and burn it again to a top qaulity disc. The easiest way would be to use gnies expert, Its extremely simple to use.

Booting games with USB/Extreme Advance is a waste of time. Data transfer rate is slow, and there's a ton of compatibility problems. You can play games off a IDE HD, which is a much better solution, as long as you don't have a v14. You'd need HD Advance/Loader to do that. What version PS2 do you have? Here's some info which should help.

HD Loader: http://www.hdloader.com.au/hardinstall#prepare or
HD Advance: http://www.hdadvance.com/hd_advance_how-to-use.htm

4. Q. Is game X compatible with HD Advance or HD Loader?
