Does rapidshare log your ip to see how many downloads you can do, or does it log it for each downloaded file.

It logs every download, and compares ip adresses.
If you don't have premium and try to download 2 files at once or exceed the limit, they'll just cut you off.

I meant does it log it for each file, so it would have a list of ips which downloaded a file.

I'm curious about this also... its secure to upload and download from sites like rapidshare, megaupload, sendspace, etc.? i'm not refering as to catching a virus, but rather if anybody uploads or downloads a file, do they keep logs of your IP? if so do they keep them permanently? perhaps somebody with some expertize in the matter could please explain exactly what is the process involved.
