so many different devices and whatnot. Passkey, passme, passgas?? I have no idea what I need. I want to run homebrew.

I think if I understand correctly I need 3 thinks.

flashcart (m3 seems to be the choice for most)
pass(something-er-rother)
memcard (sd, minisd, cf, microsd, etc...)

Do I have this right? What do you recomend for DS Lite. Please respond so I understand correctly

The best adapter to use is M3. You can get it in either CF or SD/Mini SD (the CF version will stick out quite a bit on a DS Lite). For the Pass device, you can either get Passkey 2, or Passcard 3, though I heard Passcard 3 is better. I use a Passkey for my big DS. For the media, theres something called Castlevania test which rates how good the opening in Castlevania runs on diffrent cards. I dont have the link but other members do. Make sure you have a card reader and when you get the M3, download the lastest firmware and Game manager from Dualscene.com you just put the firmware on the card and put in in M3 and it will update automaticly. If you want to run music or PDA applications then chose "extend" from the main menu. That should be all you need to know.

M3 miniSD and Passcard3 is currently the best available so is highly recommended.
If you have a DS Lite and don't mind sacrificing removable storage for appeaernce, the G6 Lite is just as good at DS and GBA games as the M3.
