Hey guys
first of all, i congrat on great forum. I used to browse through ps2nfo, but they got little 'funny' (credits & so on) so I decided to join this site.
So I'd like to burn some ps2 online games. I read carefully few times all about it. Got all the software and the instructions.
I tried with a new Flatout 2 game (XX XX 00 30 64). I have patch the ISO file and burn it again on DVD, but it won't work (DNAS error).
I entered the first 4 hex-dec signs in the boxes (A4 C2 - you said anything right?), but I don't know, what to do with description SLUS_212.51 ? Does it have to be included somewhere in ISO or what?

If i understand correctly, I need unpatched ISO (right version - USA/EUR etc...), WINDIP to modify ISO, DNAS number and burn it again. Have I missed smth?

Thanx for all the help
Thank you

Yeah you're on the right path. Don't post what 2 hex sets you used so others can't know who you are. Especially Sony. Anyway, try repatching the .iso with a lower set of numbers. A1 B3 stuff like that and see what works for you. It works for me :)

Use MUCH lower numbers for the 1st 2 sets. I always advise to stay under 2X XX. Especially when you've got an ID with a '00' batch number.

What error code did you get anyway? Might be handy to know.

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!

I tried, but no luck. I have use used lower numbers (two times 10) and I get error 833. I looked up and it says region error. Flatout 2 is USA region.

I forgot to ask: with DNAS patched backups, does MOD chip has to be turned ON or OFF? I assume ON, coz PS2 can't read 'em, right ?

p.s. just find it somewhere, i should change date and time in system configuration - is that it?

your problem is you're trying to go online with an NTSC game on a PAL machine or viceversa (having said that it doesn't work even if you have same format but different region eg. jap game online on a US machine evethough they're both NTSC it won't work). You can't play non-native region games online. There's ways around this but only if you have the older ps2s. take a look at my post in my sig for more info also, there's a sticky on the topic.

NTSC DNAS threads.
