Devhook Perks?

Well besides the fact that Devhook is an AWSOME loader for ISo's, what else can I do with it? Loading Iso's from the pc through UBS but besides that I haven't seen any other use for it. Also is it possible to load other homebrews on 2.71 when you've loaded it with devhook, or would I have to restart the psp to only be able to use it on FW 1.50? For example SNES emulator. Thanks to anyone that could answer a curious noob.

Generally your can't run your homebrew on emulated 2.71 unless someone decides to recode it to work in devhook. Since about 99% of existing homebrew doesn't work with devhook it would take a lot of time to alter these existing programs.
