Just want to know if I can use Alcohol 120 to make a copy of my HD Loader disc? I don't know if its cd rom based or dvd. Please send me a link to the right tutorial if its not too much trouble. Thanx.

i think its a cd. if you start alcohol and select "copy wizard" youll see the file size.

Its funny that when I selected "Explore" in my computer to see whats in the CD,Crazy Taxi showed up along with a few other folders.

Would u happen to know of anyone that has made a back-up of their HD Loader disk? I need the right tutorial cause this is my first attempt at this.

yeah mine showed that way too. i heard they had to use crazy taxi's boot code on order to get hdloader to work in an unmodded ps2. you can still babck it up, though. i used alcohol120% to back it up. you can also use Nero or roxio.

I tried the Alcohol 120,the newest version,and went step by step according to the guide posted for CD back-up for PS2 and I got as far as 32.4%,when trying to create the image.I only got that far after selecting "Skip Read Errors".I waited about a half an hour more to see if she would continue but no dice. Please Let me no how you did it and if you used a CD or DVD to record it. Alcohol 120 indicated that the HD Loader CD is about 616 megabytes, which fits on a standard CD.

now that you mention it. just for the hell of i remember trying to load the hdloader in to my hd. the error came in at about the same spot 32.4%. i had to get this off a torrent site. maybe you can create an iso from that disc with magiciso or something?
