Hi i've scoured the forum, and the answer to my question is sort of answered but not quite, so i've decided to post this in hope of an answer.

Firstly, I've only just bought swap magic with the slide tool for the ps2, is it as easy as burning an image to the CD/DVD required puttin the disc in and voila!?

Secondly, I was happy to believe this was the case until i started reading things like CDloader v7+, how would you put that onto a game disc? Do u just add both the items to the same disc?

Finally, I have the a PS2 from about 2004, one of the silver ones. What DVDs would i need + or -?

depending on what game it is you many need to rebuild or use extra stuff like cd loader (not an expert on what needs rebuilding so I can't tell you maybe someone else can help with that part) as far as I know you don't need to put cdloader into the iso, It's an extra disc that you swap with (so you double swap... swap magic >>> cdloader >>> game). You wanna be using -R as it is more compatible with the older ps2s but, you can test out +r and see how it goes. One other option would be to use +r and booktype them to -rom if your burner supports booktyping.

http://www.swapmagicfix.com lists games that require the additional loaders, and you can download them from there to burn onto CD (for CDLoader) or DVD (for DVDLoader)
