Hi, my name is fernando martinez and I started having problems with my dvdit 6 pro which use to be wonderful... until now! it all started when I decided that instead of burning the project directly into the DVD disc decided to create an image of the project instead, and so it did and when I was to burn it the program said it won't fit on my DVD+R memorex so I thouht maybe that dvd was damaged after all.... but no! and I thouhgt well since the program said it had about 6.2MB remainning I thought I had space and it would be fine! so I decided to use the traditional or just the thing I use to execute as always which is burn to DVD directly... so I did that but after taking about 3 hours to make the project ready for burn it said the project won't fit on the disc inserted and to continue or cancel it!! I said since it won't fit there is not need to continue so I cancelled and wasted all that time!!!.

I thought why if the project had space left!!! ¿Don't you think? now you may say well 6MB wasn't enought leave 100 megas just in case! but no! this project I named it enigmas4 my previous project was called enigmas3 and it had 1.3MB reamining! so even less then the enigmas4 yet it burned succesfully and never said the size won't fit!

I thought well my PC mess up I turn it off for 30sec restarted wasted another 3 hours for it to be done for burning and the same !!! message!!! and this is why I come here... Why it all started happening after I created that enchanted image? what can I do?

I selected the DVD-5 4.7GB as the disc and is the same layout I alwasy used! there is another DVD-5 that is 3.9GB and I probably know that if I get the project to fit under that it may fit and burn completely on my 4.7GB disc but no I refuse it has to return to the previous state.

DVds can hold up to 4.3 gb of info in reality.

Hard to say from your explanation. Maybe some help here with other DVDit users.
