i have downloaded a ps2 game from a torrent(its an iso fie) and i have mounted it (alcohol)and burned it on dvd. it didnt played on ps2.
when i place(play) a dvd in ps2 first the screen flickers as the ps2 has recognized it but then without showing anything (not even ps2 logo) it returns to the browser mode and then red screen appears. i have read some forms say using a Dvd Decryptor but ihave tried it but it says that (in log) error no dvd_video present. then someway i opened the iso file but it says no protection found. maybe i have done something wrong using dvd decryptor. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

okay a few things here..

1.) you need a mod chip or swap magic disc to boot a ps2 disc.
2.) downloading a game is considered piracy and is not allowed on these forums.
3.) if you own the original then backing up the game is fine.

so either buy a swap magic disc set or get a modchip.
do not discuss downloading.

Then a simple burn to good quality DVD-R should be all you need to do.
Use DVDecrypter thus; Mode > ISO > Write, browse to iso file, choose burner & set speed (recommended speed is 1/2 the disc's max speed) then click the burn button.
