Are its H.264 videos as good as those produced by PSP Video 9?

I really want this program for its video color brightness control (as there's currently no program out there besides it that can do it), but I'm hesitant to drop $40 on it.

just use psp video 9 and change the brightness on your psp :)

Damn it, people keep saying that.

No, that doesn't fix the problem.

The colors on the video itself are too dark, which leads to a lot of annoying ghosting. By brightening the color on the video, it gets rid of most noticeable ghosting, and it also makes the video a lot easier to see, even on the lowest brightness etting.

Use and editor(Final Cut) and make the contrast higher.

i use psp movies creator v2.0.1.. and it's by far the best program for psp video converting/editing.
and everything is free if you know where to look.

Anyway, how consistent is the output? Do H.264 movies look as great as they do on PSP Video 9? Like, is there still artifacting or blockiness or anything?

i don't remember where i found it.. it was long time ago, but if you look hard enough, you can find everything you want.
anyway, about the quality, psp movie creator lets you control the video quality as high as you want, so you can choose whatever quality you want... as shown here
